Our pediatricians are dedicated to the care of infants, children, and adolescents in the Buffalo & Depew, NY areas. Each pediatric physician at Genesee-Transit strives to achieve compassion, kindness, and competence. Our very dedicated staff can help you with your journey through parenting.

 

Darlene A. Dzik, MD, FAAPDarlene A. Dzik, MD, FAAP

Dr. Dzik graduated from Depew High School in 1986. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology in 1990. Dr. Dzik graduated from the SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine in 1994, and completed her Residency training in Pediatrics in 1997 at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Dr. Dzik then practiced at Mercy Pediatric Center in South Buffalo. She has been with Genesee-Transit Pediatrics since its inception in 1999. She is certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She resides in Lancaster and enjoys spending time with her children.

 

John A. Dzik, MD, FAAPJohn A. Dzik, MD, FAAP

Dr. Dzik graduated in 1985 from Depew High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1989. Dr. Dzik then graduated from the SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine in 1993, and completed his Residency training in Pediatrics in 1996 at the Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Dr. Dzik then joined Tonawanda Pediatrics. He has been with Genesee-Transit Pediatrics since its launch in 1999. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He resides in Lancaster with his wife and children.

 

Khristina Kasuba, MD, FAAPKhristina Kasuba, MD, FAAP

Dr. Kasuba joined Genesee-Transit Pediatrics in 2012. She has lived in the Buffalo area since 1996 and is a graduate of Depew High School. She received her B.A. in Biomedical Science from SUNY Buffalo. Dr. Kasuba completed an internship at the Toshiba Stroke Research Center at SUNY Buffalo and a project on Dengue Fever. Her volunteer interests included working with orphans in both the Ukraine and St. Maarten. Dr. Kasuba received her M.D. from The American University of the Caribbean then completed her residency training in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Buffalo. She is versed in Russian and is fluent in Ukrainian.

 

Alessandra M. Palma, MD, FAAPAlessandra M. Palma, MD, FAAP

Dr. Palma received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. Majoring in Spanish literature, Dr. Palma graduated Cum Laude and was the recipient of the Abby Howe Turner Award for Excellence in Biology. Dr. Palma completed her M.D. degree at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Camden, New Jersey. Her residency training in Pediatrics was completed at Children's Hospital of Buffalo, where she served as Chief Resident. After completing her residency training, Dr. Palma attended as the Hospitalist for the infant ward at Children's Hospital of Buffalo and worked in the hospital-affiliated clinics. She was awarded a National Health Service Corps Scholarship for her service in the inner city clinics. Dr. Palma has been with our practice since its 1999 expansion into Genesee-Transit Pediatrics. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
